His compositions are confidently tonal, fluently melodious and possessed of virtually supernatural penetrative power.
La Scena

Whilst this is instantly attractive, melodic music, if one looks under the surface one finds so much more. There are many attractive depths to this atmospheric music.
The Classical Reviewer

Beppe's musical paintings were brought to life by none other than the great Vladimir Ashkenazy leading the Philharmonia Orchestra. The performances match the compositions beautifully, covering the whole dynamic range from very quiet to thunderously majestic. (....) 2L has done it again. With beautiful renditions of Norwegian Flint Juventino Beppe's music that have been flawlessly recorded, one can sit back and enjoy the visuals flashing by the inner eye while being surrounded by a fabulous sounding orchestra. As an avid film lover with a large number of movie scores in his CD collection, but also as a classical music aficionado and someone who appreciates well done surround recordings, I can only highly recommend this Blu-ray Audio Disc. Reference quality!

Flint Juventino Beppe is a major musical discovery. It would be necessary to rewind to the 1940s and Malcolm Arnold to find an emerging composer of such exceeding promise. His compositions are confidently tonal, fluently melodious and possessed of virtually supernatural penetrative power. The flute works receive achingly beautiful, indeed enchanting, performances from Emily Beynon and the Philharmonia under Vladimir Ashkenazy (Beppe conducts the other pieces). This set is recommended for any collector seeking the refined side of contemporary music.
La Scena

The performances, it need hardly be said given the stature of the musicians, are impeccable. Emily Beynon is as good a flute player as has walked the earth, and she clearly enjoys playing this music. Few recordings have given me such pleasure.

I am very fond of Scandinavian mentality, the way people express themselves and their spiritual world. It has always been a very special treat for me to conduct and play Scandinavian music, and it is a particular pleasure to introduce to the world a very talented Norwegian composer Flint Juventino Beppe whose music in its own way is a genuine reflection of his world.
Vladimir Ashkenazy

In his music Flint Juventino Beppe reveals himself as a person who has experienced that life consists of light and dark, but unlike the majority of us he approaches both with a similar undaunted decisiveness; it adds an extra quality to his music: the conviction of an eyewitness.

Multi-award-winning documentary about Flint Juventino Beppe (News on Request AS).
In this documentary, we follow the production of the Grammy-nominated album FLUTE MYSTERY (2L). Shown on NRK "Fakta p lrdag" in 2009.

Surrounded by secrecy, composer Flint Juventino Beppe, 36, has captured the heart and minds of the international music scene. "I never compose music", Beppe says, "the tones just float around inside my head. When they get too loud, I have to breathe them out." This film is a story about a personal war, and about finally recapturing the love for music and life.

This short presentation film with Vladimir Ashkenazy, Rune Bergmann, Wolfgang Plagge and Flint Juventino Beppe gives a brief, yet substantial introduction to Beppe's business.

The film music soundtrack in VICINO ALLA MONTAGNA, performed by the Philharmonia Orchestra, is taken from the album FLUTE MYSTERY.

Two very important factors that have always fascinated me deeply are Nature and Space; their influence is felt in many of my compositions. The title Flute Mystery represents a subjective reference to these abstract elements that surround us all the time. Hence Flute Mystery is based on personal feelings and moods encompassing these factors (among others). The alto flute part has both tranquil passages and others of greater intensity, combining here and there with the sympathetic input of harp and strings. It is a symphonic poem, written in a single movement, but with various tempi and dynamic markings.
